Augmented Reality Project
This project that we have embarked upon is a joint effort of two classes: art and technology. The students will be taking a 2D painting they created with Mrs. McMillan and adding a deeper dimension to it through augmented reality. Their painting will serve as a trigger image that takes the viewer deeper into the art. Students are given the freedom to decide where this journey will go, and I for one am excited to see where it will lead. To access this other dimension we will be using the Aurasma app that can be downloaded for free.

Today's assignments
Please read all of this!!!
Today, you'll need to make sure and add these items to your blogs. For each, create a separate post: Cinemagraph, Word of Mouth project, and Cd cover. You'll then need to upload your video you made about school to your Youtube account and then upload your GarageBand song to soundcloud.com (sign in with your school mail from the sign up button)
Lastly, you have a homework assignment due next time we meet. You need to bring in your artwork from the still painting project you did in art class. We will be using these for our next project on augmented reality.

YOU NEED EARBUDS TODAY! Go get them, please.
For today's lesson you will be setting up a blog using Google's Blogger. Once you have signed in watch this video and follow along. You do not need to use the exact widgets that she uses, but you'll need to add a few. Later on (not today) we'll be adding the work you have created this year. Be creative and make it your own. I would have created my own video, but my throat and voice are kaput.
Double click video to make it full screen.
