Cinemagraph Project -
By combining a video with a picture, one can create a visually perplexing, yet stunning, image. Using the techniques learned in Photoshop, cinemagraphs will be graded based on two factors: aesthetics and "wow" factor.
Aesthetics will take into account landscape orientation, movement in video (must be taken from a solid surface), fluid infinite effect (loop selection key), the importance that only isolated movement(s) are moving (no movement in foreground or background).
"Wow" factor will take into account whether or not the image seems to defy reality.
Note - using a shaky video or one taken "selfie" style will immediately knock the project down one letter grade.
